Enkele reacties op het werk van Dorien Plaat

I mentioned last week that the new show at Jaski Art Gallery was the work of Dorien Plaat and perhaps the fourth exhibition I have seen of her work. I was expecting "big paintings" I hadn't pay any attention to the invite that said, "The Small Works." But that's okay, I like surprises. And what a nice surprise it was; over 200 paintings (no one knew exactly how many) from 10x10 cms to 30x40 and priced at give away figures: 200 to 500 euros. The show started at 16:00 and by 16:30, as I was going out the door, I counted 30 red dots; they were selling at one a minute just like "pofferjes." .Great work. Portraits, funny charactures, animal paintings (mostly dogs), football players, a humanized Mickey Mouse, pin-ups (sorta) and...well, go see it! Until 23rd September. www.jaski.nl

ik ben een trotse bezitter van oud werk van je, maar hier zitten ook weer een paar bij die ik wil. misschien moet ik wel verzamelaar worden

Looking well in a red bikini, they are very different to what you painted before. You are becoming more like the famous artists. you have no price on your paintings so we will buy them all!!! Merry Christmas.
